Qian-Hui Chen

I am a tiny individual on the Earth, curious about the formation and evolution of this Universe.

My research focuses on resolving various structures in galaxies, including the stellar bars and spiral arms. I applied my talents in visualisation by subtracting useful information from spectral datacubes and presenting my results in colourful maps.

My work involves extensive data, from observations at different redshifts to simulations.

I love drawing random stuff.

I have two rabbits who are my daily emotional supports.

How to pronounce my name (千惠)?

Qian-Hui in Mandarin is /Chien-Hway/

Or /Cin-wai/ in Cantonese.

I was borne and brought up in a small town in the southern part of China. It is a beautiful and quiet town with martial art culture (Wing Chun). It is also a great place for traditional delicious Cantonese cuisine.
