The final dataset from the 2dF Galaxy Redshift Survey, including redshifts, spectra and photometry for more than 200,000 galaxies, is now available on two DVD-ROMs. The DVDs contain the survey catalogues, FITS files for each galaxy, an mSQL database that can be run under Linux, and papers, graphs, tables, documentation and other software related to the survey. The FITS files for each galaxy contain photometric information, a finding chart, object spectrum, sky spectrum, and variance array. The mSQL database indexes all the data in the FITS files and can be used to display the finding chart and spectrum of individual galaxies, and to perform SQL queries on the data.

Security: This form is submitted via a secure WWW server. The data in your form is sent using https and is encrypted. When you submit WWW the form, you will get a warning notice which informs you that although the site uses encryption,the site certificate is self-signed rather than signed by a recognized authentication service. This is not a problem, but, if you prefer, you may send your order by fax or ordinary mail. As required by ANU regulations, credit card data held on disk is encrypted.
