SSO fire procedures

SSO fire wardens

Assembly points and safe shelter

The following are the nominated assembly points in the event of a fire on site for SSO. Note that when sheltering from a bush fire, a modern building with a fire sprinkler system is the safest place to be. Make sure windows are closed and stay away from doors and windows while the fire passes.

Being prepared

The following table is intended to detail the procedures to be followed by RSAA staff to make sure we are all ready for fire emergencies. The procedures are intended to clarify responsibilities for, and timing of, various actions leading up to a fire season, during the season and in the event of any local fire emergencies.

Yellow
(Fire season started)
Orange
