"MAVIS Paranal visit report"

MAVIS is an Australian-led adaptive optics instrument being designed for ESO’s VLT Unit Telescope 4. In September a delegation from the MAVIS Consortium, including five staff from AITC, had a very successful trip to the Paranal Observatory to visit the VLT (and ELT!) to discuss a broad range of technical topics. This talk will discuss some of the outcomes of the trip, and is bound to include many photos of large telescopes and the Atacama Desert.
