"LIGO: The Current Observation Run and Future Upgrades"
| LIGO is in its 3rd observation run which started in April 2019. Together with Virgo,we have collected close to 50 event candidates so far, which are available as public alerts.We look at the current detector performance and its implications for astrophysics. We also discuss future upgrades like A+ and Voyager and take a look at the proposed3rd generation detectors. |
