"Mapping the Cosmic Web with Gravitational Lensing"

Using data from the CFHTLenS survey, we have recently made the first stacked image of the dark-matter dominated filaments of the cosmic web that connect galaxies. This opens up a new window to studying the non-linear Universe, which will be fully exploited in upcoming weak lensing surveys such as CFIS, Euclid and WFIRST.
