Star formation driven outflows are believed to play an important role in regulating the conversion of gas to stars, particularly in low mass galaxies. However, the relationship between the presence of outflows and the rate and concentration of star formation within galaxies is a topic of ongoing debate. I will present results from our adaptive optics integral field study of star formation driven outflows at z~2.3, and discuss the kiloparsec scale properties of star formation in regions with and without outflows. |
