RSAA Seminars
The Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics (RSAA) offers three regular forums for talks: Invited colloquia, more informal scientific seminars, and informal non-scientific Feast-of-Facts. Talks are broadcasted on ZOOM and if possible are given in the Duffield Lecture Theatre (DLT). Colloquia are one-hour research lectures primarily presented by invited speakers and finishing PhD-students. They are usually scheduled 11am on Tuesdays and speakers are invited by the school after based on suggestions ranked by a speaker selection committee. Seminar talks are more informal half-hour talks and are usually scheduled 11am on Thursdays. Feast-of-Facts are RSAA-internal informal 15-minute open-mic talks of two speakers each at 2pm on Fridays. If you are interested in suggesting a speaker or presenting a talk at RSAA, please contact seminars@mso.anu.edu.au
