The GMTIFS program is a project of the Research School of Astronomy & Astrophysics at the Australian National University, located at Mount Stromlo Observatory in Canberra, Australia. GMTIFS builds on extensive adaptive-optics instrumentation experience from the Gemini NIFS and GSAOI instruments.
The ANU is also leading development of the Laser Tomography Adaptive Optics system for the GMT. |
