Welcome
My name is Tiago M. D. Pereira and I am not a Brazilian swimmer nor a mathematician. No! No! Much more than that! I am a post-doc at the RSAA, Australian National University in Canberra.
I was born in Lisbon, Portugal in the distant decade of the 80's. I got a licenciatura (now called an MSc.) in Physics Engineering from IST, and after some time doing research I came to Australia for a PhD.
My work revolves around observations and modeling. My PhD thesis was about comparing 3D solar model atmospheres with observations. You can read more about it in my research pages.
