Mac stuff
home
If you are a mac user, well done. You can find here some fun (and/or tricky) applications (freeware
or shareware) that make your life funnier or easier.
Of course, the use of all this stuff is at your own risk and discretion, Any copyright
infringing activity you choose to perpetrate using this application is illegal, wrong, and
beyond my control bla bla bla ...
DVD Regions
This is one of the most anoying things you'll find in every new computer. The default "region-free"
configurations are set so after 5 changes your regions are locked forever (=No freedom whatsoever).
The solution is relatively complicated and risky. The mac-DVD-gurus that make the firmware patches are
xvi and
cynikal, in their pages you'll
all the information you need as well as their region free firmwares.
Alas, I "flashed" my Superdrive with xvi's firmware and the region chains shall now burn in hell.
