Boeing 777 design

So it’s not a particularly dangerous design flaw, but the 777 I just flew on has the entertainment controls in the armrest, the top of the armrest. They didn’t think that anyone would perhaps put their arms on the rests, thus changing my volume unwittingly? The AA entertainment system isn’t as good as in the Qantas 747 I was on last either…

Here is a neat piece of art that uses the sun’s movement to display a poem over the course of a day. The idea could be extended to make a timekeeping device, one that even tells you the time of year with a bit of thought!
