"Stellar substructures around the Hercules dwarf spheroidal galaxy"

Dwarf galaxies are amongst the most dark matter dominated stellar systems in the universe. Our observations of this however, are based on kinematic measurements that assume dynamic equilibrium. In this talk I will present the results of my first paper; a detailed analysis of the stellar substructure surrounding the Hercules dwarf spheroidal galaxy, demonstrating that Hercules is a strongly tidally disrupted system and therefore not in dynamic equilibrium.
