Notes: UNSHEDULED TIME MUST BE APPLIED FOR BY EMAIL TO THE CHAIR OF TAC, PETER WOOD (wood@mso.anu.edu.au). Allow at least 7 days notice. TARGET OF OPPORTUNITY OVERRIDES: RICH ET AL have been granted the following overrides: 5 of up to 1 hr on the DBS (no grating change); 2 of up to 1 hr on CASPIR; 8 of up to 2 hr on the 40". There is a maximum of 1 override per observing run on the DBS and CASPIR, and 2 on the 40". Rich et al are to contact the observers with instructions, and offer joint authorship to the observer (one person) on the publication of the observations. SCHMIDT ET AL have been granted the following overrides: 10 of up to 1 hr on the DBS (no grating change), spaced no closer than every 3rd night; 15 of up to 30 min on the 40", spaced no closer than every 2nd night. Multiple overrides per observer are possible, but within the constraints above. Schmidt et al are to contact the observers with instructions. They will offer to use their time allocation on the 2.3m to pay back observers for TOO time usage. CHRISTIANSEN/WU: Christiansen and Wu share the nights 30 May - 10 June on the 40-inch. Christiansen has the first part of the night and must be clear of the telescope by 10.30pm so that Wu can start immediately at this time.
