News The workshop program and presentations are available here.
The new Wide Field Spectrograph (WiFeS) at the 2.3m telescope of the Australian National University has been used for a large variety of observing projects since its commissioning in March/April 2009.
The aim of this one-day workshop is an inventory of the practical experience with WiFeS data reduction gained by users during the first year of WiFeS operations. By bringing together present and future WiFeS users as well as observers with a general interest in WiFeS data, the workshop will be a forum to review and discuss data reduction methods, the WiFeS IRAF package, data calibration requirements, and observing strategies.
The workshop will be held on 28 April 2010 in the Duffield Lecture Theatre of the Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics of the Australian National University. There is no registration fee.
If you are interested in attending the workshop, please send an email with your name and affiliation to julia@mso.anu.edu.au.
