The measured dark current is very much lower (94e/binnedpixel/1000s) than reported by brian schmidt of 1300e/binnedpixel/1000secs. When the dewar arrived at MSO, there was masking tape on the mounting flange of the dewar. It is a possibility that the masking tape has interfered with the dewar mounting and caused a light leak. The reported noise of 18e is normal for this chip when serial binned 3x3.
