Dear Margret and Walter,

Doris and I hope this e-mail message will get through to you as we wish to
express our fervent hope and prayers that you are safe and hopefully have
not suffered any property damage. The morning newspaper mentioned that it
was feared the Historic Observatory on Mt. Stromlo was feared lost. This
would a tragedy of the highest magnitude and a severe blow to all Australians.
