The NTEU would like to extend its
heart-felt sympathy to members and all other Canberrans who have been
directly affected by the fires over the weekend, particularly those
who have suffered significant loss. It has been a terrible time for us
all.
Members and other staff of ANU at Mt
Stromlo have our commiserations as well.
I would also like to acknowledge the
support for their staff and the broader community given by the
Vice-Chancellors of the ANU and the University of Canberra. It is much
appreciated.
