Thinking of you, after the fire.

Hello Peter,
I was so terribly shocked and saddened to hear what has happened to
Stromlo - even after 9 years away I still feel quite attached to the
place. How are you and your family? You were living near Kambah at
the time I left - are you still there, and is your house still standing?

All the news here concentrates on Duffy and Chapman, but I am
aware that the Kambah fire station burnt, so clearly there were fires
there too.

I have seen the reports on how the Duffield and Woolley buildings are
still standing, but little else is, and I understand you are working 
hard
to retrieve all possible data. Good luck with this.

Anyway, there is not much I can possibly say in a tragedy like this,
other than that I am thinking of you, and thank god you are all alive.
