Hi Brian,

I've just returned to the University from ~two weeks of active duty in the
IDF, during which I was mostly out of touch. I've just read about (and seen)
the horrible impact of the fires on the MS Observatory. I am really shocked, 
and I hope that you and your family and friends are all well. Let me also tell
you that the entire astronomers community here at Wise was deeply moved
by this terrible disaster. We all hope you'll be able to re-build a new
observatory even better than the old one. I also know that this affects
several things you were working on - but from our brief meeting I'm sure 
you'll be up and going strong in no time.

We all extend our deepest sympathy for you at this difficult time,
