Our discovery of large numbers of LMC PNe will enable the
most accurate and comprehensive determination of the LMC PNLF
across the broadest range of magnitude and evolutionary state
offering significant new insights into the LMC's stellar evolution
history. We have compiled an unparalleled new sample for studying
LMC PNe chemical abundances, kinematics, morphology, structure and
masses. |
