Project Description: |
We plan to obtain narrow band imaging and spectroscopy of new emission nebulosities in the Magellanic Bridge. The Bridge represents a tidal debris field from a past interaction between the Small and Large Magellanic Clouds, our nearest neighbouring Galaxies of any significance. The characteristics of these nebulosities will inform our understanding of the energetic processes in the ISM in the Bridge. |
