Title:
Merger-driven galaxy/AGN evolution: The case of borderline type-1 QSO
Project Description:
The active galactic nuclei of galaxies are most luminous long-lived objects in the universe, powered by accretion of matter onto supermassive black holes. Our study focusses on a population of active galactic nuclei which bridge the gap between nearby low-luminosity Seyfert galaxies and distant powerful quasars and will also shed new light on the cosmological evolution of galaxies.
