Project Description: |
New SNR candidates have been found in high resolution MCELS optical images of the
Small Magellanic Cloud. Spectra will help confirm them as SNRs.
We will also be able to determine their local electron densities, temperatures and metal abundances.
In addition, three known X-ray remnants will be studied in order to understand observed
structural differences in radio, optical and X-ray. |
