Project Description:

Hundreds of dwarfs satellite galaxies are expected to be present in the close neighbourhood
of our galaxy, the Milky Way. Two of them, the well known Magellanic Clouds, are clearly visible in the Southern sky.
Our aim is to detect smaller and fainter ones. We already have undertaken the detection of over-densities using a publicly available star catalogue, and some candidates have been located. We are pointing our telescope in their direction to confirm their nature... are they Milky Way satellites?
