-0.5cmWe are observing Blue Compact Dwarf Galaxies, tiny, irregular galaxies busily building new stars.
We know that this star formation occurs in episodes and want to understand what triggers it. With our observations
targetting stars both old and young, as well as the properties of the galaxy gas around them,
we are hoping to build a picture of how the gas turns into stars in these special galaxies |
