Title:
A search for distant radio galaxies
Project Description:
We are searching for the most distant galaxies using their radio and infrared properties. Why radio galaxies? Because they are the brightest and most massive galaxies, and radio waves are not affected by dust which absorbs optical light. We are measuring redshifts for selected radio galaxies that reach back to times when the universe was less than half its present age.
