Project Description: |
Our observing programme is designed to look at very hot stars that
vary their light output because they are pulsating like balloons being
gently inflated or deflated. By studying the variation of the light, we
will be able to derive the stars' interior composition and structure,
which is not possible in any other way. Being supernovae of tomorrow,
these objects are crucial for our understanding of stellar evolution. |
