High Mass X-ray Binaries (HMXBs) consist of an exotic neutron star or black hole siphoning
gas from a bright massive ordinary star. We are looking for periodic changes in the brightness of
HMXBs that will reveal the orbital periods, the masses of the neutron stars and black holes, and how
the gas flows from the ordinary star to the exotic star. |
