The AAO/UKST H survey of the Galactic Plane has led to the discovery of a rich new vein of 'Planetary Nebulae', ghostly gaseous relics of old stars. Our large catalogue will impact significantly on many aspects of Planetary Nebulae research. The collective properties, such as their luminosity, of a co-located population of Planetary Nebulae will allow powerful insight into their evolution. |
