Presentation guidelines.
Please check if you are assigned to give a talk or a poster
Talks are indicated by "abstract" link next to your name.
Posters are indicated by "poster abstract" link near your name
at our abstract page

Talks:

The time and length of your talk can be found  in the program.
Speakers have allocated generous time slots (typically 20 min; 30 min for keynotes). This is to allow time to include introductory material and for discussion after each talk.  At the end of every session additional time for general discussion has been allocated.  Please remember that this is a very diverse audience and keep "jargon" to a minimum, avoid acronyms.   We encourage you NOT to give your standard talk from the last specialty conference.  Every talk should begin with some introductory material and make an attempt to relate the study to the general themes of the conference. It will be a challenge for this diverse group to communicate effectively, but this should make this meeting all the more fun and productive.

Projection facilities:  We will have available for speakers a computer projector attached to both a MAC and a PC.  Participants are asked to bring their talk on CD (or send it to us electronically in advance) for loading on to one of these two computers.  Both computers will be running powerpoint, if you need other software, let us know.   We would also like to make copies of presentations for posting on the conference website after the meeting.

A document projector suitable for both hard copy figures and transparencies is available.  If you will need to use a 35mm slide projector, we can arrange it, with advance notice.

As we are only having a single session meeting, we will not have to strictly adhere to the schedule, fruitful or lively discussions will be allowed to continue, however speakers will not be allowed to go over time limit in their presentations.

Posters:
Will be up all four days. Lunches will be served nearby.
Size: A0, approximately, 1190 mm by 840 mm
In addition we have scheduled time on Tuesday afternoon (see
program) to introduce the poster presenters and if they would like to speak briefly about their poster (1-2 minutes) with one illustration, they are welcome to do so.

If you have any questions please contact
