Penny's Office 12:30- 1:30 pm

We'll be looking at a bunch of ideas this week. In this paper, Greaves et al note that giant planet systems don't generally have debris disks. I think it would be interesting to talk about this paper in the context of the "Neptunian triplet" paper and the corresponding new and views article, since this system has a detected IR excess (see this paper). Also related to this idea, this paper by Greaves et al. talks about a correlation between metallicity and the prescence of giant planets, and the lack of it for debris disk systems.
