MWA Meeting

Canberra, January 19-23 2009


The semi-annual big MWA meeting will be held in Canberra, Australia from the 19th-23rd of January 2009, at Mount Stromlo Observatory. The meeting will include a meeting of the MWA Board, as well as a significant scientific and technical themes. Everyone is encouraged to make their travel arrangements as soon as possible, as January is a busy time for Australian Travellers.

January is summer in Canberra. You can expect warm to hot days (22-33C/72-91F), with relatively cool nights(9-16C/48-61F). Rain, typically in the form of thunderstorms, happens on average 7 times per month.
