Using clusters to map very large scales: the REFLEX survey

Aim: identify and measure z for all Southern X-ray clusters (at |bII| > 20o) with fx > 10-12 erg s-1 cm-2 in the ROSAT All-Sky Survey: ~700 clusters with z < 0.3 (see Boehringer, this meeting, for details)

Clustering results shown here are drawn from a virtually 100% redshift complete sample of 460 clusters with fx > 3 x 10-12 erg s-1 cm-2 (Boehringer et al. 1999, Guzzo et al. 1999)
